Nm Cafe - Las Vegas

While visiting Las Vegas I had the pleasure of dining in a the cafe at Neiman Marcus I had such a pleasant server who was knowledgeable about the food and served with such professionalism. I will remember Kelley an certainly ask for her when I visit Las Vegas again.

Celebrated a friend's birthday and they made her feel special, with confetti on the table and little Happy Birthday hat! Their espresso martini is amazing! Their food is always delicious and service is superior! Love coming here for a great lunch with girlfriends.

I highly recommend them, super friendly and attentive, in addition to the delicious food, each dish has a special touch, even the coffee is delicious

So this review is going to be a bit different than the others. I am a local and eat out quite a bit my friend loves this cafe and we have been here quite often. While she ran to the restroom I took the opportunity to make a facetime call to my daughter who is ill it was 2:30 not busy and I made sure the volume was set to less than half which is lower than an actual persons volume would be sitting at the table conversating. My friend came back and started to sit down when an employee (Jennifer) came up and said that either had to take the call off of speaker or end the call. I explained it is a facetime call and is also set to low volume and she said that it is restaurant policy I know this to not be true but was told end the call or step out of the restaurant. Honestly I was surprised. Again remember this is in a mall....on the strip.... I called today and spoke with Rebecca who said she is in operations and the jist of the call was that it is not infact policy, that someone in the restaurant complained (remember not busy and the volume was lower than an in person volume would be) but they they are now going to put a sign up that says no cell phone usage. So, if like me you are going for business, have kids that call you, really anything that would require you to take a call or place one I do not recommend eating here. It seems like they are missing the mark and do not recognize their clientele or setting and forget that it is a service that they are providing. I would recommend Nordstroms Cafe over this anytime both in way of food, pricing and overall welcoming feeling especially if you are traveling and want to share your experiences via phone or facetime.

The food and service was excellent. The tomato jam on the triple grilled cheese was a nice touch. The bar staff, Natalie and Celeste, were delightful.
