Fish King Grill - Las Vegas

Been coming here for a couple years now and the fish plates are very consistent and good. I would have left a 5 star but the higher prices keep us from coming in on a more regular basis, I get it Everything is more expensive after the Plandemic : : : But we will continue coming back in the future.: :

We like to have fish fry every Friday, and theirs is awesome. We were devastated when they changed the lunch special to cat fish, which we don't enjoy. The hush puppy's are delicious! This place was pretty good and the service was fast. The ambiance wasn't the nicest so I definitely don't recommend taking a date here if you're trying to impress someone special. But the food was really good. We ordered the Louisiana Basket with catfish, shrimp, fried oysters, hush puppies and soft shell crab. My favorite was the shrimp and catfish. The pink lemonade was really tasty also!

The six-piece shrimp basket was ok. I didn't care too much for the shrimp with the cornbread breading, but the shrimp was still juicy, and tender. I loved their clam chowder. It was robust, and absolutely delicious. The restaurant was nice, and cozy. Much quieter than I was expecting, but it helped make the ambiance relaxing, and very enjoyable. No need for a waiter just pay up at the counter, grab your buzzer and pick it up when ready. I appreciate that!
