Nice bartender they do nice drinks but no good winnings!

This is an old school, old Vegas, dive bar. Pretty good selection of draft beers and the menu looks good but I didn't eat. Friendly and fast bartender. Nice.

Got there at 12am we rang the door bell and tried to open the door. Waited about 8 mins did it again and a guy opened the door and while doing so some lady yelled at him "NOOOO CLOSE THE DOOR "Very rude and unprofessional, hours state 24 hours a day but you choose not to host 4 customers. We are out of town here for a fire fighter convention and this is how we get treated. Thats sad that we get judge right away by the color of our skin.Wouldn 't recommend goin here

We like to visit dive bars so the Island was definitely on our radar. The entrance door was a little hard to find. Once inside, the place definitely looked run down, though the clientele was nice. The bartender was very friendly and did not even charge us for drinks while we were gambling at the machines. Did not win anything. Possibly, we came at an off time, though it was around 10 pm on Saturday night. Again, no problems with the place, but it could use a little cleaning and polishing.

Hot machines, friendly bartenders, and yummy pizzas and bar food. Long live Island Grill!!
