Sometimes it's a hit or miss if we can order from the kitchen to eat at the bar. The Bar at Molly's is the BEST!!!! great promotions... Great Bartenders! Suzie! Mark! Scotty!!! We stopped going to the local casinos because of Molly's gaming machines are great!
Didn't answer the phone. We got there and it wasn't open,and said you could've contacted us on Instagram.
We came here for our a quick Italian lunch. We waited a bit for the waitress to come and seat us. We were given a menu with one side Italian menu and second side this GYU Asian food menu. I tried to order from Italian menu calamari, not available; pasta, not available then got told the Asian side are all available. Which is strange as we are here for Italian food. At the end we had to order burger and pork belly rice- the burger was dry and the pork belly was ok. The waitress never came to check on us about the food. Once we finished eating, we had to go around looking for the waitress to pay. At the end we went to card playing side to get the waitress. Bad service, just ok food, not coming back again. Avoid.
Upon entering Italio, I was greeted with a warm and intimate atmosphere that set the stage for a truly remarkable dining experience. The staff was attentive and knowledgeable, guiding us through a menu with unique and innovative dishes showcasing the best Italian cuisine.We began our meal with the celery root soup, a velvety delight. The fresh black truffle and chive oil added a luxurious depth of flavor that elevated this dish to new heights. The shrimp empanada was equally impressive, boasting a light and flaky crust surrounding plump shrimp and a delectable Santa Barbara uni filling. The spicy corn served alongside provided the perfect balance to the rich flavors.The braised short rib was an absolute standout. A rich and complex mole sauce complemented the tender, melt-in-your-mouth meat, while the pickled red onions added a tangy contrast that made each bite even more enjoyable. The squid ink seafood pasta was a testament to the chef's ability to marry bold flavors with delicate ingredients. The lemon sauce and fresh tomatoes cut through the richness of the squid ink, creating a harmonious blend of flavors that left us craving more.Our final entrée, the smoked ribeye steak, was a true masterpiece. Cooked to perfection and accompanied by an irresistible Calabrian Béarnaise sauce, the steak was succulent and flavorful. The spring peas served on the side were fresh and vibrant, adding a touch of seasonal charm to the dish.To conclude our meal, we indulged in the chocoflan impossible cake. This decadent dessert offered a delightful combination of rich chocolate and velvety flan, beautifully enhanced by the sweet, fresh strawberries. Italio has a unique location with a unique menu of Italian and Argentinian food. Find them just to the left after entering Molly's Tavern on Eastern. The dining room is completely separated by walls and a door from the tavern. It doesn't feel like you're inside a tavern when you're dining here. During the day they are a different style casual restaurant. My friend suggested this spot and I don't know if I would have ever found them on my own.We started with the Frito Misto and Short Rib Empanadas. The Frito Misto had a light breading with a nice amount of seasoning. I liked the mix of seafood on the plate and the tasty dip with it. The crispy Short Rib Empanadas had several delicious flavors going on with the chimichurri and Calabrian sauce. For our main courses we shared the Branzino and Calabrian Pasta. Both dishes had interesting and tasty flavors. Both were on the rich side with the pasta sauce and risotto under the fish. The Tiramisu for dessert was good. They had a unique twist on it with citrus on top and I was surprised to find that I didn't love that. There is quite a bit of competition for Italian food in Las Vegas and I wouldn't rank this high on that list, but it's unique with the Argentinian twist. If you're in the area looking for a casual meal or something unique then this may be a fun spot to check out.
