Bidra med feedbackWe ate a salad burrata and ham+cheese sandwich for a quick snack. They are generous on the liqour and serve desent Spanish house wine. Good experience for a friendly price.
It was a local holiday day when we visited so a lot of the competition was shut. With few ptions open to.us we gave it a go. Nice bread to start with. Canarian potatoes and the best mojo sauce I have ever had for starters.my wife had what she claimed to be an amazing ceasar salad whilst I had the steak. Mine was OK apart from the potatoes being a bit undercooked for me. The grilled pepper that came with it lacked the lovely sweetness you normally get when grilled. All in all a decent meal.
We dropped in by chance for dinner. The restaurant was empty (it was early) but the waiter took good care of us and recommended certain dishes. We shared shrimps with vegetables and oyster sauce, which was served hot and perfectly seasoned. Then we had cherne and cod,, the cod was especially good. I could have enjoyed a little more vegetables with the cherne. All the food was hot and tasted good. We chose a bottle of a local white wine and it was very good with the fish. I liked the steam train theme with menus shaped like the locomotive and a wine cupboard reminiscent of a train carriage, and although the restaurant was not busy, the ambiance was good and we were left to ourselves until we needed anything.
