Fly Away - Las Palmas de Gran Canaria

We found this place since we stayed in the same street. It offers a short list of excellent entries. We had fish carpacio, gaspacho, and grilled octopus. Main dishes were good. I had sea bass, grilled with vegetables. If you are hungry, order entries and/or desert. Service was fast and friendly but the place was empty, probably because it just reopened under a new ownership. Four stars for th(e quality/price ratio. We went a second time and were less happy.

We visited this and other restaurants around Las Canteras during one week in Las Palmas, and Fly Away was the best with a wide margin. A possible improvement for this and most other restaurants in the area would be to add a few dedicated vegetarian dishes.

Had a menu del dia lunch there. Excellent green bell peppers as starter. Main was lasagne done with a gourmet twist. House red was also very nice.

Lugar exquisito para comer, personal y restauración impecable. Gracias al chef joaquín me sentí como en casa con el único al whisky que quita el sentido. Definitivamente he descubierto un lugar para volver cada vez que viene a las palmas.
