Ocho Tostadas - Las Juntas Mexico

Four of us ate here last night and each one of us enjoyed our meals immensely. Started with the oyster shooters. So good we had to have seconds. My wife and I ordered the grilled octopus and prawn pesto linguini to share. The octopus was excellent, tender and flavorful. The linguini was very tasty and cooked perfectly. Our friends had the octopus as well and a fried fish dish which they pronounced to be great. Service was great. Attentive, friendly and professional. No room for dessert but maybe the next time....and there will be a next time. My wife saw the seafood soup delivered to the next table and insists she's coming back to try it. No arguments from me. It was a great meal.

Terrific all the way around. This service was off the charts amazing. The woman who we believed to be the owner left her guests to check on our meal. So good! The food was yowza! We will be back. Every. Time!!

You don't know delicious until you've had their smoked marlin tostada. We get the guacamole and cocteles, which is like a seafood mixture of shrimp, octopus, snail with onions, tomato, cilantro in a cold broth. To be honest, I asked for no snail. The fish fillet is awesome; I had it with basil (albaca). We love the open air of the clean restaurant that lets the slight breeze through. They're conveniently located on a major street near an intersection. There's always a taxi sitting out front. The family friendly service and attention to detail will have you leaving with a smile. They speak English well and are very patient to explain the menu or even alter the ingredients to a dish to accommodate your taste.

If you like your seafood bathed in ketchup this is your place. Do not expect typical Mexican seafood here. Wife ordered tostadas de ceviche de camaron (really bad taste) I ordered the pulpo plate blunt taste . We will not be returning unless they make really authentic Mexican seafood. Servers had to be reminded to fill up our drinks.

We eat there every time we stay at Vidanta. Short walk down the beach or a cab ride away. Good food, great service, very reasonable prices. Cash/pecos only!
