Bidra med feedbackThe entire Amador complex is quite nice, attractive and clean. Any one or even all of the different businesses/bars is sure to please. It is a great place to bring out of town guests, it is sure to impress. My guests tipped back a draft beer and cider whereas I had a bite to eat. The chicken fried steak was a little overcooked, possibly the oil was not quite up to temperature. The mashed potatoes and green chile gravy were good. The restaurant opened at 11am am n Saturday and offers breakfast and lunch. I had a hard time choosing my lunch because frankly not many menu items struck my fancy being i did not want eggs. I would recommend that the restaurant opens at 10 am instead of 11 am for a true Brunch offering. The farmers market is only a block away. Take advantage of the traffic.
Been here many times, from when it first opened. One thing I always enjoyed has been the Chile Rellano. They now call it Farmers Market Rellano. It's has always been presented really well, with really really great veggie sides. Today I got these totally toasted lumps (the chiles) with cheese on them, that were indeed the chiles, but a really bad preparation and presentation. Whoever was cooking tonight (7/28) should find a new job. It was edible, but not what I expect from this place. I wish I had taken pics of it to post. The service was not so good either. Multiple times our waitress messed things up. Hopefully just an all around bad day for the Amador. I'll try one more time before crossing it off the list.
We got seated was given a menu for their so called Brunch menu. Only had about 5-6 items. We sat at our table for looked through the 1 page brunch menu sounded good. Sat at our table for 10 minutes no one came by to ask if we needed help or wanted anything to drink. As a waitress from a different section, walks by and quickly asks for we want water. She leaves wait another 10 minutes. We decided to leave the so called wonderful restaurant. As were getting ready to leave, the waitress is walking back with 1 glass of water, there 's 2 of us. Ended up in Old Mesilla, had an amazing lunch.
Really nice atmosphere, food can be hot or miss. The deviled eggs are not great the weird candied bacon on the top of them didn't enhance them at all.Waitress was great, the rest of our food was also pretty good.
Made the mistake of giving this place a try for lunch. Only 5 item brunch menu available. We choose the green Chile burgers. After being asked how we wanted them cooked, all 3 burgers were overcooked. No seasoning. The chicken n waffles was a sad looking plate. Not even a garnish or anything. If you want mimosas, this is a good spot, but if you're hungry, keep looking.
