Sushi-ko - Larkspur

Wow? surprised by the food experience we had for lunch. Not because I didn't think it would be good, but because we are so often underwhelmed in other Japanese restaurants. I had the mackerel dinner, it was substantial and fresh tasting. My wife had the Lachstempura and it was just as good. Veggies are done right, even the broccoli? was surprising for me. It was perfectly boiled in ice water and cooled for a finished texture that surprises you that you eat a piece of broccoli. Compliments to the cook to get a high attention for food. Will definitely come back.

Sad to see, Sushiko has gone the way many fighting restaurants. I ordered Teriyaki Chicken. What could easily be a delicious dish Consisting a small rocky chicken breast seemed more like Costco par-grilled on the Sushiko Grill reheated? Large handful of baby green and somewhere in this stack were two very small broccoliflorettes. The lower line is: The waiter was very friendly and cordial.$32 Including tax tip. Mediocre.

I traveled 15 times to Japan and have always searched for a place that brings home the Japanese feeling and quality. This is my favorite place in Marin. Not too expensive, family-friendly, and a menu that has all classics, but also some adventurous things. Absolutely recommended.

Very high price for what you get. Place was kind of empty, albeit a couple of mobile orders, so they weren't busy enough to excuse the quality. Sushi was bland and not the best texture. Waited for my food for ages. Got the dragon roll and California roll, and a lemonade. Came out to around 30$ with tip. Not worth it at all. I wish I had gotten Safeway sushi instead.
