This place is awesome. I grew up in a heavily Japanese-influenced community in LA and also spent some time living in Japan, and the food here at Fukusuke reminds me of the izakaya-style home cooked meals I’m used to. The staff here are so nice and friendly, especially Mama-San, who I think is the owner. I’ve gotten takeout a number of times from here since Covid started, they’re super compliant, and the food is still great. Please keep supporting them!

The waitstaff was quite confused when posed with normal restaurant requests. The food was decent. The prices were on the high side. I would not go back for a second try (I usually do give a place a second chance... .

This is one of my all time favorite restaurants. Food is excellent and authentic. Mama San is the sweetest and the service is beyond exceptional! Great selection of food (not just sushi). Absolute gem of a Japanese restaurant. Excellent service, delicious food.
