Equator Coffees - Larkspur

If you're an espresso coffee lover this is your place in Marin. Equator in Larkspur is the only spot to get a good quality cup of espresso based coffee in Central or North Marin (and frankly southern Marin's only decent coffee is their sister shop at surf shop at tam junction). They use great beans and they know how to make espresso drinks really well a rarity in many places these days. These folks are consistent. Their cappuccinos have a rich and smooth taste, a the right temp, the right size and done well. Its also in a nice setting with outside seating. They have a really good frittata sandwich and some good pastries and I kinda like that their food menu isn't extensive. They stick to their specialty COFFEE.

Bog standard coffee shop. Nothing special aside from the picturesque location by the redwoods.

A modern Cafe that is very North Bay in both its prices and appearance. Limited indoor seating with a very nice little patio in front that is perfect for coffee relaxation on a sunny day. Could easily work or read outside comfortably.The cold brew was above average, but the butter croissant rather plain, and unfortunately that will run you $10 with a modest tip. The pleasant location with decent people watching potential near some beautifully tall trees and trails helps make up for it, however.A solid place to stop on a walk or if passing through, but I wouldn't go out of my way to come here.

Phenomenal coffee in one of the quaintest towns on earth.

Equator coffee in Larkspur is 10/10. They consistently deliver an EXCELLENT cappuccino and the staff is so warm, it’s a local community feeling. Special shout out to Kaitlyn. She’s wonderful. I just love coming here every morning
