La Bottega Di Canfreo - Lari

What a find! Simonetta, the owner (I believe) goes out of her way to be sure you enjoy your visit. I visited with a group of 25 family members. Simonetta met us at the coach and walked us into the cute town of Lari. We visited a cheese cave, the bottega, the Pasta Martelli and a butcher and Simonetta helped me to organize all of this. We speak different languages, but Simonetta did not let that get in our way! The Bottega offers many fine foods, including Pasta Martelli. The cheese cave was a very unique experience, we were all in awe. If you are around the town of Lari, please stop in town and visit Simonetta and her fine shop and the other shops which are all within a close walking distance. I true local Italian town, feel the love and culture!

Stumbled upon this gem by accident, but what a discovery! The food was absolutely delicious, service was great and the interior was lovely. We loved this place! I would go back anytime!

We were on vacation and visiting Lari and it was a cold, windy, rainy Spring day. We were looking for a place to get out of the cold and have some lunch and came upon this wonderful place. My husband and son ordered delicious pasta dishes, and I had the yummy Tuscan soup. Then, at the end of the meal, our server brought out two bottles of local digestifs and placed them, along with three glasses on our table and allowed us to try them, complimentary! This is just another example for the warmth and hospitality we experience throughout our travels in Italy.

Posto molto carino nelle colline Pisane, siamo andati stasera per il mio compleanno e come primo ristorante a Pisa. Abbiamo diviso tutto, siamo partiti con il tagliere del Canfreo, ottimo, con formaggi e salumi di qualità tra cui le forme che si vedono in foto. Abbiamo proseguito con la cacio e pepe, che non siamo riusciti a fotografare ma era una vera delizia. Come secondo abbiamo preso una tagliata, al sangue veramente squisita con erbette miste. Abbiamo concluso con un dolce alla ricotta e cioccolato da leccarsi i baffi! Ho soffiato anche le candeline ; ci torneremo sicuramente! Staff splendido e locations bella.

Posticino intimo, veramente particolare, curato nei mini dettagli con amore e dedizione. Cibo toscano di altissima qualità e cucinato come fatto in casa. Salumi formaggi e carne di ottima qualità. Una garanzia.
