Great staff, clean and terrace in the summer evening

I was in this hotel during a business trip to Lappeenranta. It was a nice and cozy hotel with a modern look. It is built directly in a shopping center, and with the current construction before, it was a little cumbersome to reach the rooms. Regardless, the service was wonderful and the amenities were nice. Unfortunately, the pool area was closed during my stay, so I cannot speak for its quality. My room was subtlely decorated with an IKEA-like appeal. I was a bit underwhelmed by its appearance and with the hard floor and unpleasant surface carpet in the middle, it wasn't as comfortable a room as I expected. In addition, certain room functions, such as the heated bathroom floor, did not seem to work. The hotel breakfast was fantastic. I never had such a good hotel breakfast and this experience spoiled me. There was a large and colourful selection with many fruits, bread, milk and proteins to choose from. Everything tasted very fresh and healthy, and it was a good way to start every day.

Small room... Smelly and small bathroom. In the middle of the mall. Breakfast was good, nothing unusual. Was on business trip, I did not change to use the sauna or swimming pool. Very nice service team.

Clean and very accessible for walking through the city. Very close. The breakfast buffet had many options, but a bit generic, the rooms felt a little nude Russian style as a charming Finnish style. The rooms could have been updated. The service was good, not great. A decent place at a reasonable price.
