We spent a night at Galland and we were pleasantly surprised by the size of the room: it's good to have space! The atmosphere of the place is calming, we both felt it and appreciated it. Little personal extra: I am vegetarian and the chef very kindly agreed to prepare a veggie meal for me. He even took care to tell me that the dessert I had chosen contained gelatin (therefore of animal origin) and offered me another: I was very sensitive to these attentions and the respect for my “singularity”. Really Bad food without effort. Maybe just Bad cooking skills. Akward athmosphere.. 5 waiters to serve 3 tables leading to them selling us Evian water even though i asked for carafe d'eau .. just slobby and incompétent, especially thé hôtel and restaurant manager, that accuséd us for running from thé Bill when we went to have a smoke... Even though our jackets and phones were at thé table... Dont have a restaurant if you have no love for the food you serve... Will not wish this upon anyone
We ate there with a group of 13. A restricted menu was agreed beforehand. All of the food was well presented and perfectly prepared. The staff were helpful and efficient. The price was moderate for the quality presented.
