Bidra med feedbackVery nice interior and it looks French inspired. Service was good and efficient. Food was delicious and worth the price but I think the serving size should be better. We. We're the only dinners when we ate there and it was an hour before their closing time at 10pm. It was nice because we had the restaurant to ourselves. Their local pizza is a must try.
We ordered poque poque (roasted eggplant), headless fried dilis, dinakdakan, native tinolang manok, ripe mango shake and salamagui drink (sampalok/tamarind). All of these dishes are perfect! Ambiance is great, antique with style (a little dark though). Our waiter is nice but service can definitely improve a lot. Took a while before they serve Dinakdakan and had to follow up the order as well as the salamagui drink. We later found out in the receipt that they just added the two in writing means that they forgot it and later added the orders.
If you want to try ilocano foods, this is one restaurant you need to try. Ambient is like eating in the house. They converted the old house into restaurant. Food are good, and price are reasonable for the food quality. Serving size is smaller than you will expect. Try the tamarind juice it’s really good, among some popular menu are bagnet with kbl (kamatis, bagoong and lazuna (tomato, fish sause and onions , mongo with tinapa, poque poque or eggplant dish.
I highly recommend anyone visiting Laoag City to dine at this restaurant, as it offers the best Ilocano delicacies in Ilocos Norte. The atmosphere is cool and intimate, perfect for enjoying a delicious meal and engaging in good conversation. Our experience was incredibly satisfying and fulfilling, and we definitely plan on returning in the future.
I have been a regular at this restaurant known for its Ilocano cuisine since it first opened. I love the ambiance and I always order their Ilocano pizza and pasta.
