Rifugio Motta - Lanzada

This is both a restaurant and a hotel. It is truly an eagle´s nest . Difficult to reach during winter time if you don´t do alpine skiing (it is located in the middle of the black slopes . The view is absolutely incredible. And the food, well incredible!! Try the dishes with deer, or the steak/bacon on wooden stick, and the apple cake (cooked in white wine . A food treasure!

For a mountain refuge this place is fantastic for atmosphere and great food. The view leaves nothing to be desired. If you can, take a bob sled back after dinner on a full moon evening.. adrenaline at its best ; !

If you are searching for a place with a amazing sight where you can eat excellent dishes, this is your place. You can arrive from Chiesa in Valmalenco with the cableway and, then, in about half an hour of walk. Otherwise you can make a beautiful walk from S. Giuseppe. It is a warm, clean and familiar environment, with fantastic people there.
