Bidra med feedbackDo you know when you go to a government office and they get the feeling that the person who could not take care of her less? that is now the keg, because like a government office there is always a line-up... and so it is no longer important to them. they rent children who do not even know the menu. children are cheaper. they get their order wrong and it doesn't play a role for them. it takes too long. who cares? don't you like it? go away. there's always someone who takes their place. it is not as if it were a “bad” experience in itself. but it’s not “good” anymore. they have the formula right and most people like it. just don't expect them to treat them like something, but a number....even if the child cares about the camera enough to remember what they have ordered.
We enjoyed the dine out 3 course meal. brett m was our server and the service was excellent, he was very professional and personal.
We were very satisfied with the cook john who took the time to hear my lists of allergies and served a fabulous meal with the few ingredients I can have and the meal of my man was also great. I rarely come for dinner, but the employees in keg in langley are the best thanks for a great experience
I have made reservations for our lunch experience, as this is the 68. my wife was. birthday, including her twin sister! beautiful that we did it when it was very busy during peak hours. all staff were very friendly and efficient during our dining experience. the steak lobster was the wife. very delicious "lobster madness in the session.) good the culinary experience in langley, as we remember the keg digester restaurants of pastness since the early 1970s! remember the day waiting for 1.5 hours inline to eat the old keg, reservations are much better!
I have been a Keg customer since the 80’s. Scott Road Keg (south of 72nd. Ave), The Vancouver Keg, The old Keg in New Westminster, White Rock Keg, the list goes on. The tradition was passed on to our kids who are now adults. I...went to the Langley Keg tonight for dinner. Got there at 5 pm to beat the rush and to relax. Instead I was greeted by a very young woman at the front who immediately asked if I had a reservation. As far I I can remember, The Keg never took reservations. It was first come first serve. However this young woman, Ashley started “educating” me in a condescending tone of voice telling me “it’s all reservations now buddy”. I may be old fashioned but I’m not impressed nor do I like being addressed as “buddy” by a hostess who I don’t know or acquainted with. I’m 64 years old and I teach my children to respect everyone more so the older people. Strike 1. When I responded to this young woman about her disdain and lack of professionalism in terms of greeting customers, she immediately denied saying she had called me “buddy”. Strike 2. I will accept less than professional greetings as I understand life’s challenges and the “new generation”. What I will not accept is an outright lie and pretending that she never said it. Mistakes are understandable and is a part of life. Outright lying and playing “innocent” is not acceptable. I left with a $100 gift card for a place which I will never go back to. In terms of service at this particular Keg Restaurant in Langley, British Columbia, it has mostly been good or above average. That’s why I was given the gift card because my family thought I liked The Keg. In terms of food quality and variety, The Keg at best ranks 3 out of 5. With poorly trained staff (pandemic or not), it is struggling to maintain its mediocre service. And The Keg charges more now because of the pandemic losses it incurred. Glad I walked out of that place. I needed to lose some weight anyways. And surely I didn’t need to be patronized by staff who think it’s the norm to lie and deny questionable behaviour. If this is what The Keg has become because of the pandemic, it’s a poor excuse for lack of professionalism. Anyone wants a free $200 Keg gift card?
