Bidra med feedbackBacchus Bistro is a winery restaurant located in South Langley. The winery, Chaberton, has been operating for over 25 years and has been voted the best winery in Langley by the local community. I was delighted to celebrate my wedding anniversary here. Their vineyard patio was a perfect spot to savor their seasonal dishes. It is advisable to check their website for opening hours as they may not be open all year round. Dinner reservations are recommended. I am excited for my next visit to Bacchus Bistro to enjoy their delicious and classic dishes.
Excellent!!. We visited for lunch on a November weekend. The atmosphere was airy bright. The host offered us a friendly greeting and the wait staff were there when we needed them but not overly attentive. My wife's steelhead was cooked to perfection and her pulled pork pate was marvelous and was a very generous portion. My Waldorf salad was delicious, my scallops and chorizo sausage were excellent and the meringue dessert was yummy. And the pairing of wine with my salad and another wine with my entree was not only excellent but at $14 for two 5-ounce glasses was an excellent bargain. We will definitely be back!
Bacchus is a hidden gem in the Fraser Valley. We visited this restaurant for the first time last night based on some recommendations, and we were pleasantly surprised by the beautiful location and fantastic service throughout our dining experience. I ordered a delicious tomato and brie tart, which was served on a bed of fresh greens with impeccable dressing. The pastry melted in my mouth, and the creamy brie was simply delightful. We also couldn't resist trying the duck leg confit served with a perfect cranberry sauce and flavorful green beans. The generous portion of two duck legs was cooked to perfection, seasoned well, and melted in my mouth. To top it off, we were served a complimentary side of scalloped potatoes that were rich and creamy - definitely not for the faint of heart or health-conscious diners, but we thoroughly enjoyed it. For dessert, I indulged in the generous portion of Tarte Tatin, an amazing apple tart that was complemented perfectly by vanilla ice cream and a good coffee. The service was excellent, with just the right timing between dishes and friendly staff who checked on us regularly without disrupting our conversation. Bacchus is truly an excellent restaurant and a hidden gem in the Fraser Valley. I am already looking forward to returning soon!
The servings on the French menu are quite generous. The atmosphere is lovely and they have a great selection of local wines.
