Yorgos Restaurant & Lounge - Lancaster

My husband and I were very disappointed. We have often eaten Greek cuisine and that was definitely not authentic. The quality of salad and tomatoes led me to believe that the person shopping for products either does not care or does not know freshness. Perhaps no budget has allowed good quality and freshness. The meat was too dry because it was cut into pieces that were too small (souvlaki) and the gyroscope was rubbery. The waiter brought me a glass of Greek white wine that was supposed to be neither dry nor sweet. Fortunately, I enjoy dry white wine with food, because that was it. He never once asked if I liked it while he served us the salad and duck, even when we pay the bill. This despite his recommendation. The prices reflect fine food. The food and service were definitely not in this category and we will not return. I'm sorry, you haven't met our expectations.

The food was good, and their prices are more reasonable than many places in these days. Clientele was a little strange

All good food. Octopus appetizer was vaccinated on the Octopus. Lamb aprons were excellent, the Breanzino was terrible over salted.

Neighborhood Gemstone; if you like Greek cuisine, this is the place to go to Lancaster. Excellent wine list, wonderful appetizers; authentic home made Greek entrees; waiting staff is attentive.

We both ordered steak and let me tell you it was the worst steak I ever tasted, it tasted like burnt charcoal, I asked for medium and it came out over well done, we complained about it and said we don’t want another steak and since I only ate 2 bites I thought surely we would get a discount but nope $170 later we left. Let’s just say never again
