Bidra med feedbackI can say it has nothing to do with the place. the location is quite beautiful and had the weather been better and had we in the position to sit outside on the deck, with a view of the flow, my entire impression might have been higher. the food was good, the service was good, the price seemed not outdated, but nothing really jumped on me. an out-putting thing that may have set my rating somewhat lower, were the TV screens around the dining rooms. not my eating. I found it distracting. but that's just me.
Nice atmosphere, Great food, different vibe. Went the other day with a friend who grabbed a burger. I was expecting Americana by the name, but was surprised with Greek once I took a look over the menu. I had the Gyro platter for something different, and was pleasantly surprised with some awesome food. Everything was fresh and the Tzatziki sauce was very refreshing. Everything came out great and our server was doing the best she could. The server was also the bartender and balancing the two wasn't easy on her, but she did good. I hope this place can keep it up! Definitely worth a stop for something different.
I was very surprised at how nice it was on the porch and inside, very misleading from the road. They seem short staffed but the service was still great! The food was well portion and delicious
Often overlooked because it's been around for so long. It wasn't part of the recent blume of places opening in the last 15 years. But the Conestoga has been offering modestly priced amazing food with great drinks for decades now. I remember when Lancaster county had 1000 diners a few chains like 3 places worth eating at. The Conestoga has stood the test of time you should check it out.
If you enjoy fish must try Greek seabass.brazino..or brazinni..one of my favorite, but the crabcakes are amazing too..their always undating menu..so check it on line..but it's always good and if your lucky enough to see Tony the owner..you can get a good laugh..he always got something funny to say..
