Valerio's Fish And Chips - Lanark

What has happened ? we used to eat in the restaurant at least once a week for years, food was always good service was exceptional even when busy so much so I always left a tip,due to circumstances we have not been for at least 3 months, today 11.10.23 we went in for dinner at 4.30pm, it wasn't busy tables were needing cleaned we sat for 15 minutes waiting to have our orders taken, all the time the staff were at the counter talking with each other, we walked out in passing the counter I informed the lad the service was terrible, unfortunately we were hungry so you still got our business this time as a takeaway, but for future remember there are 2 chip shops in Lanark,not impressed if this is the level of customer service the restaurant now gives.

Took a while to be served, but from then on, service was excellent. They could not have been more attentive. Food was excellent, the best fish and chips I've had for years. Food: 5 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3
