La Lampara - LAMPEDUSA E LINOSA

Located right across the street from the harbor, this lovely place has some marvelous seafood. We had lunch there twice and both times the pasta was outstanding. Try the pasta with sea urchin. I was dubious about ordering it but the waiter convinced me and he was right!! Really flavorful. My companion ordered the pasta with fruitti di mare and it was not only a feast for palate but for the eyes too....a beautiful presentation that made the dish all the more delightful. We went back again a few days later and had another outstanding lunch. Indoor and outdoor seating. It can be a bit noisy as traffic along along the harbor flows constantly but that's not a good enough reason not to go. Plenty of shade and the wine is cold and crisp and the price really reasonable for seafood, which btw is FRESH FRESH FRESH !! And the chef was most personable !! Price for lunch pasta water and wine...45 euros !!

Want to have a delicious and fresh fish? Than this is the place to be in Lampedusa. This restaurant is owned by a very nice italian couple.the husband is a fisherman so you can imagine how fresh ur food will be.you have a very rich menu and you can also have an open buffet that starts at 7.30 till 9pm for only 10€ with wine. The owners are sooo nice that they make you feel at home. I highly recommend this place is really not to be missed. Im still in lampedusa and surely will go back again . Cheers !
