Bidra med feedbackToday we were at the restaurant and during our meal a chair in which we were sitting was hurt. We went kindly to tell you what happened when our food was finished and one of the waitress (the one in the box) refited the person who was sitting in the chair very respectfully. “You too fat” said no matter what we were in front of her. How sad this kind of service in a restaurant in our country. Which is the images we're leaving from the Colombians. Very sad!
We ordered the barley soup for a starter and a mix of frijoles, rice, and pulled meat for the main course. My wife ordered the picada, which is a mix of all meats. The soup was delicious and surprisingly hearty, filled with various vegetables, potatoes, and even a portion of beef. The picada was generous in size, coming with delicious sauces and fried banana. It was so filling that we struggled to finish it and ended up taking the leftovers home. Overall, the meal was satisfying and delicious, and we plan to return with our whole family. We hope that the quality and portion sizes remain the same once the lockdown is lifted.
I usually visit to get empanadas and calamari every week as a treat. I left my phone and a small bag of shopping by mistake. The staff kindly kept it for me. I had actually written it off because I could not remember where I left my stuff. Very kind and honest family business. The food is comforting and its worth indulging in happy hour. I saw the other reviews and have say.... the place has changed, but I have never been disappointed and the customer base are loads of south Americans. My heritage is Caribbean. The looks restaurant is pretty authentic and the portions are generous. I have taken family, friends there and they all return under their own steam.
I was really excited to bring my girlfriend and step son to this place as I'd been many time in the past before lock down, but they haven't. I made them travel from Enfield to South London which was a mission as I knew the food and portions where always amazing an great value. Well I couldn't have been more wrong! The food was bland and the portions were half the size they used to be, and even more expensive than before. The waiter neve spoke a word of English which was fine as im fluent in Spanish and Latin myself. He never explained any of changes in the portiobs or anything. I asked if this place was under new management and he said no, he clearly lied as id never seen anyone in this place before in my life. I complained about the portions and price change but the clearly never gave a fxxk. The food and service was seriously sxxt and the will not have my business again. Avoid this place at all costs!
Lovely Colombian food in the heart of Brixton. Prices are as you’d expect. Has some of the drinks I love from Colombia such as Colombiana and Hit juices. Would go back!
