Royal Fish - Lambeth

This restaurant needs to be inspected and shut down due to its lack of food hygiene and poor customer service. They fail to disclose a 30p charge for using the card machine, and if questioned, they respond aggressively and disrespectfully in their language. The oil used in frying the chicken is so old that it emits a foul odor. I threw away my entire meal as soon as I got home. It is not worth visiting this establishment when there are much better chicken and chip shops with superior service nearby. I will report this restaurant to the local environmental council. Without satisfied customers, a business cannot survive.

I enjoyed a delicious plate of fish and chips with mushy peas, accompanied by a cup of tea. The food was fresh and flavorful, just as it should be. I will definitely return to this restaurant when I visit Crystal Palace again.

Chicken Gave us a breast when agreed to give us thigh. Refuse to change. Taste was off. Fish chips batter was too thick. Reheated in oven and took 20min. Not fresh. Card they said no min. spend and no charge, but there was! NOTHING IS FRESH

The chicken has a weird gone off smell. They gave me a breast piece despite me requesting for a thigh, then they refuse to correct, such scammers. The fish is also not freshly made, the batter is way too thick to be freshly made. Avoid if at all possible.

Thought I would add this little takeaway restaurant for their service and food. We fancied fish chips one day so called in. They were cooked while we waited. Very nice, tasty and enjoyable. Staff were friendly and it was clean. Recommend if your in Crystal Palace and want fast food.
