The food was great for the price. Service was good, not the most attentive sometimes. The children's play area is always a good attraction for parents (especially with several children, we have 5) want to eat as a whole family.

This was my first attempted thakali food, especially dhedo, I totally loved the experience and taste of all the kitchen, service is wonderful, recommend this place to everyone. The food was delicious and well cooked. I had a very good experience and memories.

Mitho Daal Bhaat paincha stilla. Amazing place in Jhamsikhel to try traditional Nepali style Thakali khana. Beautiful ambience, lots of parking (which is a surprise in this area), decent price. You also have a nice small playground for your little ones. Very recommended.

Their thakali thalis are second to none in the area and great value for money. Wpuld also recommend playing up the thali with dhindo or fapar roti. The menu is eclectic so it is great for large groups. Overall great place for office lunches (would recommend advanced booking as it can get busy then) and/or dining out with family/friends. Service staff are well trained but you need to keep an eye out for them during rush hours. Only food I wouldn't recommend here are the choco lava cake which were anti-climactic and more like brownies.

Maybe we had a bad day or higher expectations, but we are not going here for daal bhaat again, we missed veggies and the Thakali khana was mediocre unlike their Naxal branch. Plus a non veg khana does get only meat and no seasonal vegetables (if they have any! We were left unattended for a consider amount of time before we finally called someone and ask if they sell Thakali khana. Lesson learnt good restaurant environment doesn’t always mean good food and good staff personnels.
