Winking Lizard Tavern - Lakewood

Came here for dinner. First time here. You wouldn't believe what the building is till you go inside and I am not giving it away. Your just gonna a have to go and you won't be disappointed or maybe you will. Heck if I know. People are picky. All I know is me, the wife and my 12 year old had fun, good food and the staff was great. What more can you ask for. Oh, and they have coke zero so I will happy about that.

The food and drinks are always good here. It is nice to see things are hopping again. I hope they will open Lizardville (the smaller bar, tucked away in the basement soon. It has been closed during the pandemic and we have missed the atmosphere (and the single-malt scotch selection! .

Food and service were good. Atmosphere was very cool....some sort of old 'club '. Lots of wood and high ceilings. My only complaint was the acoustics. It was very LOUD. Could not have a normal conversation at our table.

Super friendly bartenders and tasty wings. One of the best beer selections in the city. Fun place to grab a drink, dinner, or just hangout and watch the game.

My wife and I were in town for a Rugby match close by and decided to stop here for lunch. It looked intriguing and we were hungry. We sat on the patio and it was really nice. Our waitress was super great, she kept telling us 'right on ', we were never in need of anything. We got half pound onion rings to start, the were delicious and not greasy. The onion was soft enough to vote through without the whole onion coming out. I got the Bo-Mans Bacon Cheese burger, do your self a flavor and get this burger! It was amazing and we 'll cooked. Over all I would recommend the Winking Lizard to all my friends.
