The Bistro Klein Constantia - Lakeside

I took the tour for 'Vin de Constance ' at cost of 1000 rand. It was private tour guided by Victor, who explained me everything about the wine and winery. Tasting includes 3 vintages (2013, 2015 2020) with a piece of chocolate and glass of water. It was all right, worth doing as you are in Constantia, but I would say it could have been more special if there is finger food and tour in the vineyard.

Amazing afternoon wine tasting. Such a beautiful vineyard with such amazing history. The tasting room was stunning with heaters and blankets for those who need it during winter time, as the building can be quite cold. Exquisite wines with such variety in flavor.

Trying to rate the bistro, but it’s hard to do so. Anyway, the experience I had at Klein Constantia’s bistro was great. Each dish was good and I had a taste of everything that was on the menu except for the vegetarian tart and fish of the day. The staff is very welcoming and love that they accept walk ins!

Fantastic wine tasting, some delicious wines from an iconic estate and finished with the delectable Vin De Constance.
