La Imperial Bakery - Lakeland

La Imperial is a combo-cafe, coffee shop, and bakery offering a ton of excellent Puerto Rican desserts and food. I dropped in for breakfast and ordered a slice of guava and cheese pie which did not disappoint. Paired with a cafe con leche made for agreat start to my day. I also snagged a loaf of freshly baked bread while I was in!

So convenient, can order ahead online. Ample serving sizes and everything is fresh and handmade. Pictured is guava cheesecake, guava& creme pastry, coconut custard, media noche cuban, and honey cuban.

Great service and delicious food. We had the medianoche sandwich and the Cuban sandwich as well as the potato balls. Our boys are picky eaters and enjoyed the sandwiches as well. Their Cuban coffee was perfect.

During our visit, we can say the place was very nice, clean and welcoming: The interior looks bigger than from the outside so was a very nice surprise for the open feeling. Costumer service was great, we felt very welcome and happy bc how friendly theirassociates were. Was packed of ppl and everyone maintain a good spirits while awaiting our foods just bc the nice and happyenergy transmitted by their associates keeping us informed also on everything and others, ty! Time waiting for a Tripletasandwich and a Mofongo Bowl from lunch special was fair considering was peak time on a Saturday; Also ordered some pastries justto experience the flavor from the place and all was delicious! Definitely stopping by here more often! Keep up with the awesomework! ????
