Cob Pen - Lakeland

I had a great time visiting this restaurant with my family in the late afternoon. The bar staff was incredibly friendly and attentive. Despite the limited menu, the food was delicious and the drinks were well-crafted, reminiscent of Datz in Tampa. During my visit, there was a trivia event inside, but there is also outdoor seating available with space to walk around or play Cornhole. Parking is limited, but there is a dedicated lot just a short walk away that can accommodate more vehicles. I would definitely come back here again in the future.

Pretty good bar food with unique menu elements that we have tried nowhere else. We recommend the roasted eggs with jalapeños and their desserts were pretty good. Chicken sandwich was dry but fresh. Super casual atmosphere.

Very enjoyed a late afternoon visit here with my family. The bar staff was very friendly, patient and overall super friendly. Despite the small menu, the food was exceptionally delicious and the drinks were well made reminds me of Datz in Tampa, which is a good thing. The day I visited, they had Trivia inside, but there are outdoor seats. Outside there is room to go or play Cornhole. The parking is limited, but the dedicated lot a few steps away offers more vehicles. In any case, it would look back in the future.

Beautiful location and building with lots of charm. I had brunch, so I can't check their regular menu, but the food, service and drinks were a pleasure. Look at it!

I only had a private event here and could not have been happier with my experience! The staff was great. The event coordinator was beforehand big questions and such. Our waiter was very attentive during the event and ensured that all the drinks they needed and so on. We made a taco bar for dinner, and it was wonderful. The private rooms on the back were so sweet and very comfortable for a smaller event. The way everything was treated really took the stress from event planning for me, and I really appreciate it. Very recommended!
