Church's Texas Chicken - Lakeland

The staff was very friendly. We had to wait for chicken tenders which I really don't mind. The one star is for the food, it was fresh but it was gross!

Went there and the young boy that was taking orders was upset that he had to be to work. He clearly doesn't want to be there. He slammed my drink on the counter so I addressed my issues with the manager who didn't care and I walked out.Now I'm at Popeyes where the employees are friendly and the chicken is better

Best food and service. The employees are really sweet and nice. The food is always fresh and delicious. I pass several Popeyes and KFC to enjoy actual good fried chicken. They make it with love here.

My Mother and I visited this raggedy location last week they not only served us cold food and old chicken they forgot to put our coleslaw in the bag also they conveniently forgot our receipt so that we could not have the order made up to us Guess where we wont be ever eating at again! Fuc Churches Chicken, the lable and the funky crew and if you wanna be down wit Churches…

This is the worst location in the state. Period. Place is filthy, staff is depressed and unfriendly, almost as if I 'm inconveniencing someone for ordering food. The line to order is slow moving, if you order online, don 't expect your food ready. They won 't make it till you get there even though the app says otherwise. Today though takes the cake. I ordered food online, it said it would be ready at 6 o 'clock. I got there at 6 o 'clock and of course, it wasn 't ready and there was a long line. When I finally made it up to the to go counter at 6:15 and told them my order number they told me to hold on. After 15 minutes more of waiting, A different staffer asked me what I was waiting for. I began explaining my order when she cut me off to tell me that they were out of white meat and that it would be another 20 minutes before it was ready. Having waited 30 minutes already, I explained to her that I think it would just be better if I got a refund and went on my way. Without even looking at me she told me she could not give me a refund and it was up to me to call the corporate office. She handed me my receipt, and walked away. I hate going here so much. If i was the owner I would be mad at how much the location is losing do to pooranagement. I found out that it 's a corporate location too. I love the product but this was my last visit to this location, unless there is a big sign out there one day that reads Now under new management. 1 star, will not recommend, will not return.
