Bamboo Wok - Lakeland

Unfortunately, I will not be returning to Bamboo Wok. Let me explain. The woman that takes your order is extremely rude and dismissive. Everyone else, on the contrary, is pleasant and friendly. At first I thought I might have merely misread the situation. Everyone has a bad day occasionally. But after going there this evening and experiencing the same negative disposition, I felt like I should say something. I said to her, “You seem very angry or maybe even sad. Is everything okay?” She ignored me and asked if I wanted to add to my order. A younger gentleman stepped up and completed my order in a friendly, welcoming manner. I enjoy the food, but dislike the atmosphere when this lady is around. I do not understand why they have her interacting with customers if her facial expression and mannerisms are so off putting. Again, to be fair, I enjoyed the food, but there are plenty of other options with better customer service. Thanks for listening, and I hope this is helpful. I moved to the south side of Lakeland and I tried a few Chinese takeout joints. Most of them were disappointing, Bamboo Wok is really good. I like the bourbon chicken. They have good options, you can add extra meat to your meal. They also offer bourbon sauce on the side, I like to pour it on my rice. I think the dinner plate is a perfect portion without extra meat. I placed my order on Uber Eats and I found it very pleasant that the options were available the app. For me the only downside is that beverages weren't offered for delivery. I have a cheat meal every week and I like to have a 20 ounce soda with it.
