Stateline Bbq And Taphouse - Lake Wylie

I'm so glad this place is open. Food is phenomenal and prices are very reasonable. You must try the Mac and cheese!!!

3-star review Today our first visit to Lake Wylie's latest restaurant was. The decor was fresh and clean. The service was decent, but not great. The prices were reasonable. I ordered the brisket, but I was not asked if I wanted a slim or damp cut... I was served a mixture of the two. I found the duck to be good, but not great (I felt as if it needed more smoke). The big problem for me was the meat was COLD and served on a cheap plastic floor. For the pages I chose the potato salad (which was ok) and the Mac n cheese (that was the highlight of the meal). The woman ordered the pulled pig, beans and Mac. Her pork was decent, but again COLD and served on a cheap plastic floor. The beans were pretty good and again, the Mac was solid. We will try stateline again, but I hope things improve from this visit. *Edit* Last night, April 02, 2019, we gave stateline another attempt (after 3x months) and had a fantastic experience. Service was great, food was hot and good. We will definitely come back. Add two more stars to my review based on this new experience.

The BBQ was really good and my husband loved his bride. I tend to prefer the mayonnaise-based rashes, so my only disappointment was. The side salad was very fresh and the Italian dressage was tasteful. You give you 3 sauces for your bbq and your plate comes with hush puppies! It was worth trying for lunch!
