Bidra med feedbackWe’ve been stopping in for years. This place use to have some of the best home cooking style food. With friendly staff. Was disappointed this time- waitress was not welcoming at all-she seemed annoyed that we were dining in. Food was burnt both the chorizo plate and the huevo ranchero plate. Too bad, too sad.don’t believe we’ll be back.
Decent portion but beef was extremely over seasoned and grounded way too much, like baby food, had a weird taste to it. The chicken was dry and not seasoned. Do not recommend.
If you are looking for the lowest-priced dine-in possible. This is the place. I found the chicken to be dry and my food bland. The service was good. I was turned off by the manager swatting a fly with a wet rag as some of the water hit me. Invest in a fly swatter, please.
Ordered Beef Chicken Encaladas and Fried Pork Dinner to go. I received shredded pork, when I told them I order fried pork the lady told me “that is the fried pork and she has worked there for 6 years and that’s what they served”. They really need to update their menu. The Beef Encalada was salty and the beans were watery (Well I wouldn’t call that beans or refried beans). Looked like dog food that my dog wouldn’t eat.
We start at the Tacos la Carbone off Congress Avenue in Lake Worth. It was in a strip mall with lots of parking in front. The restaurant was clean, old and festively decorated. There was a large menu and we ordered at the register in the back. Lunch for two was $15, they accepted Apple Pay. We sat at a booth and our lunch was brought to us in less than five minutes. The women working were friendly and helpful. Door Dash and many others picked up bags of food to go. I enjoyed my tacos, they contained lots of fresh cilantro, tomatoes, lettuce, onions with a wedge of lime. The green salsa was flavorful. My husband was disappointed with his nachos; the chips did not taste fresh nor did the beef.
