Mother Clucker's Cafe - LAKE PLACID

A great place for breakfast and lunch for the working people of this town. They have great service and good for the person on the go. KLJ

This is your typical hole in the wall greasy diner. They serve a mean breakfast! Large portions and good food!

Stopped for lunch while attending Caladium Festival. Had gyro. My guest had grilled cheese and soup. Very great. Like the diner of olden days. Friendly staff. Will return when in the area of Lake Placid.

Sad to admit that this was our first visit and I live here, but glad we finally tried! My daughter and I add the small portion of biscuits and gravy cannot imagine what the large would have looked like! It was very good, biscuits were very light and fluffy. I had a side of grits and she had the potatoes, both were very good. My husband had standard breakfast with eggs over easy, toast and bacon which he said was cooked just right. Everything is made to order, but wait time was still not bad at all. The place is small, so seating is limited. We will definitely be going back!

Everyone is Hon and looked like everyone was very welcomed. Mostly a breakfast place but does have a small lunch menu. Right on old part of Lake Placid town and very walkable if you go to see the murals on the buildings.. Seemed like plent of parking.
