Food was way overpriced (over $130 for 2 orders of brown stew chicken and 3 orders of ox tails) and definitely NOT worth the price. The chicken from the brown stew chicken (which I make from scratch) was so dry and leather-like it was inedible. Itsliterally cooked in liquid so tough is the last thing it should be. Food used to be better a few years ago and so was theattitude of the staff. Lost my business.

I've been dining at this restaurant for years, and the food is consistently excellent. The staff is friendly, and the place is very clean. The portion sizes are generous. While I usually take my food to go, they do have a nice dining area. My favorite dish is the curry with cabbage. They also offer a selection of delicious fresh juices, and my personal favorites are the sea moss, beets, and peanut juices. If I had one complaint, it would be that the food is addictive! I really don't understand the negative reviews here; it seems like some people just enjoy complaining. I've had nothing but positive experiences over the years. Give them a try!

For the lunch special, I received three small pieces of fried chicken. My mom's caregiver frequently visits this place and usually finds the portions to be quite generous.

Upon entering the restaurant, I greeted the staff, but received no acknowledgment in return, making me feel as though I was speaking to myself. After selecting a drink from the fridge, I accidentally left the door open, and Trudy remarked, "Are you going to close the fridge?" as if I should have known it was ajar. I closed it politely. When I inquired about the prices of the food, since it was my first visit, she responded with a rather curt remark. If you want to attract customers, especially newcomers, it’s essential to learn basic politeness. Trust me, it makes a significant difference.
