Jax 5th Ave Deli Ale House - Lake Mary

I enjoy the food here. It was a couple of years ago, so I suggested it for a work lunch. Never again. The beer selection is everything they have for them now. The food is not edible. Absolutely! I had a burger. He asked to cook medium what it was. But it was so burned on the outside, everything you could taste was burned grill. Not good! My mother had the slider.. another mistake. The server is to be mentioned after having taken the order you know these come in, right? No, we didn't. My mother asked for salad, tomatoes and cheese. nothing too crazy about a burger, right? Well, they calculated 3.50 extra for salads and tomatoes, and cheese! Really? 1 small piece of salad, part of a tomato and part of a piece of cheese? 3.50? Oh, and they were not only carved like my burger, but also overcooked WAY. Not good. We ordered a beef to go for my sister. The bungalow was not a real wake-up back, only a burger roll, dipped in fat and covered, I mean, covered in Kosher salt. Beef should be Boars Head Rare roast beef. No, much overcooked and fat beef from the French dip.. As I said, the food and especially the burgers were really good. Not anymore. At least the beer selection is still good, so they got it for them, I guess. Much better food nearby, stay away until they find out how to clean a grill and cook a burger.

My rating is based on the quality of the chicken wings and beer selection. I literally didn't eat anything except wings like 20 times. If you like wings and crafts beer, this is a firm spot. Besides, the waiting staff is always nice and friendly. The kind of place that is perfect after a round of golf.

I had no food this time, but it's always good. The live music was great. Still able to enjoy music and entertainment on the terrace. Great night! Service: 5/5

Jax is amazing, and our server Amy is absolutely fantastic. We make sure to get it when it is available! The food is great, beer selection is fabulous, the live music on Friday is wonderful! Try the pot stickers and pig shafts they are from this world!!! Parking lot: lots of parking!!!!

The 2 girls that worked October 11th, 2022, bingo night are #1 in my book. They worked there butts off that night. They gave excellent customer service considering it was only the 2 of them on the floor. They are appreciated.Food: 4/5
