Good food. The malt could have used more malt in it that was very weak. Good service even though it was busy. A little pricey but worth it.
The staff here are always friendly, and the food is consistently good. I dined there again today and had the chili cheeseburger. While it wasn't amazing (I'd give it 4 stars), it was still decent. I'm not particularly fond of the Fritos on it, though. It's a chili cheeseburger, not a Frito pie burger.
Additionally, I’ve experienced late curbside service on the last five occasions. The last time, I got food poisoning, which I initially attributed to ordering coleslaw. Despite having extra staff behind the counter, there is a complete lack of communication. The management is rude, and it seems like every employee could benefit from reassessment and retraining. I've never been offered anything to make up for more than 20 minutes of waiting, which is frustrating. It’s clear they don’t care. Fast forward months later, and the situation has only worsened, especially during dinner hours. Even with just four cars in the drive-thru, my wait was close to an hour. This place needs either a new manager or an owner who can properly train the staff.
I had a coupon for a medium fry and drink, and you know how it goes—you get a free burger. I tried the double chili cheese Frito Burger, which was pretty good overall. However, I could have done without the Fritos. The chili added a nice touch to the already good burger, but it wasn't the best I've had. It could have used a bit more vegetables mixed in with the chili.
