Lake Jackson Civic Center

Two years ago, I received a recommendation to visit Jovy's for exceptional tamales. However, when I arrived at the location, I discovered that the restaurant was closed.

Although it wasn't my personal preference, my family adores this restaurant and wants to support small business owners. The establishment is cozy and intimate in size.

I checked online and saw that they are open until Sunday. When I arrived at the restaurant, there were people inside but the doors were locked. A woman stood up to assist me.
