Routes Grill - Lake Country

Absolutely delicious food, always fresh, always hot and you can taste that it's home made everytime.

This was an unexpected surprise! We stopped here for dinner on our way through to the Kangaroo farm.

We highly recommend the steak and the grilled triple-cheese sandwich. Super tender steak and the grilled cheese is gooey and great. Also had their soup (mushroom) which was well seasoned and not too rich. A great option, right on the main drag!

We visited Routes Grill for a birthday celebration. The atmosphere was very nice inside, the outside was slightly deceiving (don't judge a book by its cover). There was a reasonable selection although it was mostly Italian-style food: pizza, pasta, and some meat dishes. There were limited gluten free options. We enjoyed our meal of Caesar salad, pork, and gnocchi. The food came out quickly and the service was good. The only complaint was that the food was slightly over salted and expensive; we figure it was about 10-15% overpriced. It would have been nice to be offered a dessert for the birthday but a Dairy Queen shares the same parking lot and that was great in the summer heat.
