Bidra med feedbackI ordered a regular sized dirty chai latte and it was 9 dollars ? go to any other like minded cafe and it’s about 5.50. They are out to lunch with the new prices. The drink wasn’t anything special either just a run of the mill dirt chai. Probably won’t be back unless some adjustments are made.
Absolutely horrible experience. I’ve seen lots of bad reviews on Facebook since the new owner took over but wanted to give them the benefit of a doubt.1. no dishes. All toss away packaging. This is a small town with eco friendly people that prefer not to go to a quaint coffee shop and drink out of a paper cup.2. Drink menu wasn’t even visible as the syrup pumps were in front of all the bottom items.3. I got a hot drink and a cookie. The owner was serving me. He handed me an almost frozen cookie in plastic wrap and looked a bit surprised that I asked for it to be warmed. Should have offered to warm it to start with.4. Owner dimmed the lights to half 35 mins before closing and went around telling everyone that they were closing in half an hour. They then proceeded to start shutting lamps off in the cafe 15 minutes to closing and gathering up garbage and staring at people and looking at his phone to see what time it was. Towards the end, which was 10 minutes before closing, my friend and I were the last ones still sitting there in the cafe, and the owner was standing on the customer side of the counter, staring at me and looking at his clock. It was extremely uncomfortable. We left 7 mins prior to closing and will support Starbucks until someone else takes this opportunity to open an actual welcoming and small town cafe again.
This shop has recently installed a coffee maker that would be at home in a cheap business staff room. Terrible coffee, after years of having excellent coffee made on a proper espresso machine. Too bad.
A lovely, little independent coffee shop. Will certainly go there again.
Good coffee and food. Nice vibe with portrait painting of various
