We appreciated our waitress Sam very much that she was wonderful that she met all our needs. The food was also at point we really enjoyed it....
Absolutely great. It was just like waiting for 10 minutes, even though they told us 20 minutes. The food was perfectly cooked. All inclusive of the appetizers was great. The waiter was so sweet and even let us order a page for the three-year-old. He kept the drinks full and we didn't even have to ask for a refill he just brought out.
In addition to our server that disappeared for a long time, this was by far the best restaurant where we enjoy our little honeymoon trip. We tried several different restaurants in Lake Charles area and none were good. There is no service or food. But this has amazing food!
We are all wanting to know that we are getting the best deal for our money these days and that includes when you eat out. Most restaurants are short staffed, scaled back hours and raised prices. We have not eaten at this Outback location in a few months, and I wanted to share our experience. We arrived around 4:45PM on a Saturday to beat the rush and we asked to be seated in the bar area. I am a member of the Dine Rewards program that is available through Outback’s App. I encourage you to sign up for this program. Our server was Renea. He was prompt and attentive to our needs. We did not order an appetizer, but I recommend the Onion Petals. They are not on the menu but are available. I order a frozen margarita and my husband a dressed Corona. Outback has the best Margaritas in town. Zac, the Bartender was spot on with the drinks. We placed our order: Alice Spring Chicken, loaded mash potatoes and a salad with Ranch. Center cut sirloin, loaded baked potato and Caesar salad. The kitchen did an amazing job. We have been eating at this Outback for many years and my husband said that his steak was cooked to perfection. Dominique Cole was the manager on for the evening. As returning customers it is great to see familiar faces and hers was one of them. She is courteous and kind to all the customers, while remaining professionally observant of her staff. For those that are looking for a lunch stop, they do have a lunch menu. Most of the time we decline a dessert, however Outback has great desserts that can easily be shared. Cheesecake was our pick for the evening. It was a 5-Star evening.
