Five Guys - Lake Charles

Pricy burgers and limp fries--lots of them but not crisp. Good drink selection, but the give away peanuts are a bit stale and suitable for the birds only.

The burger and fries are both good. The amount of fries you get is always excessive but I think that's just their thing. The reason for the three stars is the price. I got a double patty cheeseburger, small fries, and a small drink. $20. I had to change my underwear when she told me how much it was. Don't get me wrong, it's a good burger but for twenty dollars I can go to a restaurant and get a better burger and a tasty adult beverage for about the same price. Overpriced if you ask me.

Awesome burgers for a fast food joint. Attentive and pleasant employees. Excellent, cheerful and fast moving manager. Other places could take a lesson from them on how to run a fast food joint.

Update: 7/19/21 Came in from DeRidder today thinking I'm going to get some serious French fries. I go for the fries because their thing is overflow the cup then add a bunch more fries. Sorry I guess they no longer add extra fries. I reached in took out my cup put it in car cup holder reached back in bag and pulled put 8 fries… 8 fries. I always had fries for the 45 mile trip home this day I didn't get out of Lake Charles.

Order was wrong they only put katchup on my wife’s burger. fries were super soggy it took 30 minutes to get incorrect I ate at several five guys this was the worst one
