Whistle Stop - Lake

A great little asset to the Lake Station community.

Prices are outrageous I might as well just go to Dollar General and get a gallon of ice cream and make my own ice cream cone half the time they're out of everything I won't go there again no need I'll spend my summer on a pontoon on a lake with my watermelon

We used to love this place but as of late things have changed. We ordered chicken and we were told “ it could be less than15-20 mins or it could be more” from the time I placed the order to the time I received it, it was 1 hour and the chicken was dry. It will be twisted sisters pizza for us next time.

We went for ice cream shortly before closing. The minute we walked up to the window, 3 teenage workers gave dirty looks and said “we have to serve them because it’s not 9 yet. We were cleaning up the machines.” They continued to make comments about our order, and yawning while we were ordering. One of the flurries was clearly not filled like the rest, and they handed it to us and talked about how they knew it wasn’t filled up like the others. We asked for napkins and also got an attitude. Ice cream was good beside the one flurry portion, which they knew the mistake but didn’t offer to fix it. Some customer service coaching or supervision is needed!
