Bidra med feedbackThe food here is really good, and portion size was reasonable. Pretty fast service and friendly staff.
I've eaten twice here and enjoyed it both times. I'll be back. The ambience of the Polynesian cultural centre is an important bonus. I loved Chimichanga, but the fish taco was not great. It was more like a nice piece of fish on a plate of a corstortilla. You couldn't eat it with your hand. I prefer fish with delicious but not overloaded toppings. Don't get me wrong, blows were fresh, but they smashed the taco. Tacos should not be eaten with a fork and a knife. Chips and salsa were great. Very generous portion of salsa. Thank you.
Superb authentic Burritos with an Island-Drill. Brandoen and his friend stayed 30 minutes after closing, so he ensured that hungry I got my food. Well worth the price; we will be worth waiting
I've lived on island for 7 years and there's not many GOOD Mexican resturants on island. This place and taqueria el ranchero are on the top of my list. If your in the neighborhood, try it.
Lunch here as a quick option before spending the day at the Polynesian Cultural Center. It is part of the market area before the entrance that has some other options to check out. The menu was marked with what was vegetarian and gluten-free, so when you go to these diets (which we did in our party) you know that they are aware of these things and you will be able to eat something. I had the Veggie Burrito, who was hearty and good... I usually prefer pinto or fried beans, but none of them are vegetarian so it had with black beans. I was quite filled when it was done and thought that had a beautiful authentic taste. The person who took our order seemed awfully unhappy to be there, which is not typical of Hawaii and gives us a little. This is a good fast stop (yes, it was fast for us... a bit of a line developed after we ordered) before you go to the center for the day. There are also many seats behind the truck.
