Khyber Village - Lahore

Today my search for authentic peshawri cuisine comes to an end.. As Peshawar, my Maika and I adult eating chappali kabuli pulao and Lawaash (aka bubble wali roti). But from the last 8 years I have almost evry Resturant in lahore, Peshawri food to have authentic taste, but the result was nit satisfactory.. But today I tried khyber village on the bedian right in front of askari 11 and in front of the chatta farm house.. And OMG what an amazing experience I had. In the starter I tried hummus and nan.. And for my surprise LAWAASH came together full of bubbles with hummus.. Light airy and crispy or gurm. Hummus was much better thn al minal and portion size was also good. For the main course I ordered kabuli pulao.beef as I do not think chicken k bhi koi kabuli pulao hota hai Beef in pulao was tenderly juicy and full of flavors.so if you really kabuli and bukhri pulao taste thn this is the place for you. Chapli kabababs k lye I use a word bilkul Peshawar jese mazedar 10/10.. Baked fish. It has crispy skin outside and came with different type when Suace I like. It's not the normal one. And the cherry up there doesn't smell at all. As a page also tried search kababab. They were juicy and we actually taste beef only drunk by onions. Your chats are quite different and yummy spc peshawar wali tmatr ki chtni. And peshwri kitchen ho and qahwa na ho hows it possible.serve with gurr chunks and gurr itna acha tha k bs 10/10. And last but not the least...tried their shahjahani nan it was so huge k enough for five to six ppl... Glazed with ghee and top with kalaunjii and up.. Mza hii aa gya. Shortly aisa laga Peshawar se ho k aa gui houn.. Ambience is good to spc the roof top.. A must go when you love Peshawari kitchen.. 10/10.

Very nice food and a very family-friendly restaurant. The food is served beautifully and freshly with friendly staff!

The Kandahari naan is a must try! It's good with the Malai Boti and Kebabs. Very good service.

Khyber village is an amazing restaurant especially featuring pakhtoon traditional foods. Food is amazing and fresh. They have only one drawback of limited seating. Otherwise overall quality is very good. Price is also feasible (not too costly).
