Outrigger Kāʻanapali Beach Resort

Every single person working at this place is just amazing. After losing everything. From my belongings to both the places i called home, as well as losing the two good friends i was with ... as so did many others....in the Maui fires recently....these people here at the hotel made me feel at home again....Bette. The. That actually. I'm beyond grateful. They have helped me feel like its ok to sleep all night or get up and walk around if i want to. They still ask me how i am.They remember my name. All of them. Every single person working here knows my name and it means the world to me.They care about rather or not i have shoes to wearIf I've eaten yet todayClean towelsRather or not I'm doing well today etc...The place is beautifulThe plants and trees are amazingIts quiet at night. Beautiful.The beach is amazing..The front desk ladies are so kind. Always saying hello or good morning too meEven the bell guys out front. Always super kind.The kitchen crew is just as nice and friendly. When i don't want one thing or the other they find me an alternative just as fillingThe ladies that clean up after everyone are also kind and i trust them all. They are very polite and i like every last one of themI just love it hereI'm sure if you stay here you will tooSafety: The night security is very helpful and they quietly watchover everything at night

Our “go to” place on Maui. Staff are excellent with the Aloha spirit. From check in to departure everything is done to make your stay wonderful.Walkable distance to the museum and lots of other neat things.Not “uppity”, not a “budget” hotel. Very nice and laid back.

Outstanding resort on one of the nicest beaches in the world! We had an incredible stay the staff were wonderful. I really enjoyed the classes and learning about the culture. The addition of Maui Brewing was great we got drinks and sat at the bar a few times they drinks were great and the nachos were awesome! I do wish there was a bit more of a ‘resort’ feel maybe more activities or a nicer lobby just more reasons to stay at the resort and not go elsewhere for food and entertainment. Overall we had a spectacular stay and cannot wait until we can return.

I stayed here with my son July 2022. The person at the front desk upon check-in, was not so polite and needed an attitude check. However, the overall stay was an incredible experience. The rooms were clean, but a little outdated. We were on the first floor, which made it great to go to the pool. The pool was a little on the small side, but we spent most of our time at the incredible beach!! Black Rock Beach was one of the best snorkeling sites ever and just literally right outside the door. That made the entire stay worthwhile. When I checked out of the hotel, I met a local man who was very kind and gave us special Ka'anapali Beach Resort Leis, made of Kukui nuts. We still have them and it reminds us of our wonderful stay!!

New name, new processes, wonderful tradition – great staff. Been going to this place 12 times over 20 years. Just awesome! Almost the second you arrive – you know you are in Hawaii and are starting to soak in the spirit of Aloha. There are updated rooms – go for the traditional style – it makes that time to feel you are on vacation far quicker and you’ll also save some . The garden area is massive – no competition at all to grab a chair under the shade of the frangipanis. The staff here also make you feel you are staying with family…….. or Elvis at his best! Don’t get worried about the age – its an old property but really well maintained. Outrigger now have taken over – hopefully bring the best from the Kaanapali Beach Hotel together with what Outrigger
