Suenos - Laguna Beach

Nice atmosphere. Staff were visibly unhappy and hostess overwhelmed yet restaurant was not busy. An intoxicated woman walked in and sat next to us without being seated. She was then served only alcohol and disrupted the rest of our meal by spilling things and interrupting us repeatedly. The staff said nothing to her. We had to ask multiple times for silverware and couldn’t start our meal for 10 minutes after served because they forgot. Food was average. Lobster risotto was good. Tuna tartare served with 5 chips so we couldn’t finish it. We were not asked about dessert and the churros looked yummy! Asked for the check multiple times. Overall not the experience I hoped for :

Everything was wonderful. The outside live music was great, but a bit too loud for conversation.

Food was just okay...ordered the short ribs and it came with just mashed potatoes. No veggies, no garnish...no nothing. The service was lousy and had to ask for our server 3 times. Not certain we'll return.

Took forever to get food and drinks. Place wasn't even that crowded. Saw lots of people give up and leave before ordering. Server was nice but they seemed really disorganized there. Lots of better places in Laguna Beach to eat.

Food was very good, but it was insanely loud. Multiple large parties of folks and a busy bar right in the main dining room did not help, but the acoustics of the room clearly are a problem. The lively (but less loud) patio might be a better bet.
