Bidra med feedbackThis was my first visit to Fishbone since it changed its name. We chose to sit on the patio outside next to PCH, knowing it could be a bit loud at times, but the people watching made up for it. For a more romantic or quieter atmosphere, I recommend getting a table inside. The food was delicious - I had the mushroom, broccoli rabe, and spring onion appetizer, while my wife had the focaccia bread. Both dishes were tasty, although the kitchen initially sent the wrong appetizer, it was quickly exchanged. For our main course, I had the best Paella (Arroz a Valenciana) I have ever had, and my wife enjoyed the Crab and Shrimp linguini. We also enjoyed listening to the manager/sommelier help the table next to us choose wines; he clearly loved the Portuguese wine selections and was very knowledgeable. We ended the meal with a flight of ports, which were excellent. Our server was friendly and attentive. I highly recommend trying this place if you haven't already.
Morgan, the bartender, remembered us from our first visit 2 weeks ago. Not only did he remember us, but he also recalled our dinner order and wine choice. Truly exceptional service.
We went for restaurant week and enjoyed the Prix Fix menu. All we had was delicious, beautifully presented and generous portions. The service was attentive and beautiful ambience. We will definitely come back.
It was our first time at Fishbone. Of course, this restaurant offers high quality food at a reasonable price. We will definitely return!
Monday evenings are a great night to go to this restaurant, as all wine bottles are 50% off, which is remarkable. The staff is well versed in the wine selection, as many Spanish wines are not known, but are excellent both in taste and value. The food is incredible.
