Bidra med feedbackWe visited this restaurant a few years ago and it was fantastic. We went back this year and it was still the same fantastic food and fantastic service. It is amazing value, the amount of food you receive for the price is simply brilliant. It was so good that we visited it 3 times a week in Lagos. The owner is the dearest lady, as the waiter is such a nice guy.
Really delicious dishes and good service. Very recommended. The staff is very friendly and the restaurant also offers a takeaway service.
We have tried some Chinese restaurants in Lagos before but have never really been that impressed to find something worth a second visit. Until that is we found Peking! It was recommended to us by some English friends who live here in Lagos so we...thought we’d give it a go. The prawn crackers were delicious, not too salty and very tasty, and the pancake rolls were stuffed with fresh cabbage and carrot. So much tastier than the bean sprout version that we have at home. Main course was sweet and sour chicken balls, sizzling chicken with ginger and spring onions and egg fried rice. The sweet and sour sauce was very tasty too. We had beers and a bottle of wine (periquita) and the whole bill came to euros (plus a tip). The service was very good, and the owner was very attentive. The restaurant wasn’t particularly busy which is a surprise to us as the food is so very good. The location is just outside the old city wall of Lagos so it’s about a minute walk from the main square. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and can’t wait to go back and try even more dishes from their vast menu. You also have the choice of some lovely set menus so if you are a novice, then perhaps you could try these. We will definitely go back.
The food is pretty afordable and very good. The portions are quiet big, so you wont have to leave hungry. Plus the service is very very nice. Enjoy!
We had a holiday home in lagos for a series of years so spent many weeks exploring each year and visiting the restaurants and restaurants in the offer. the taberna on the main street was always numbered for their Argentine steaks before they unfortunately...closed then they have artistsas €€€, cochoa€ and aribales €, which were and continue to offer excellent dining and restaurants as well as other in the city walls like close bar €€ in the last few years. there is an exceptional Chinese restaurant right in front of the city walls, which is an undisputed king. or queen of restaurants. peiking restaurant in estrada ponta de piedade is a must to visit. great service, great staff, great price €€, great quality freshly cooked authentic Chinese cuisine, nothing a problem. they are a dining room king or queen at this place, when they read this on holiday in lagos, it is only five minutes to walk from bom vivant from the city center. only wonderful.
