Aroma - Lagoa

We had lunch and dinner on separate days after reading the fave reviews and because we stayed in the resort. Lunch menu is decent. Children's menu is excellent, tasty and good value for money. The adult dinner menu is overpriced for very average food which is presented well in small portions. G&T is €13.00 and a family meal for four is €100.00 discounted by the children eating from the kids menu. Sea bass is lovely served on a bed of salads with a poached egg on top, would be better if the skin is more crispy rather than soggy. The tropical salad is a confusing mix of chicken and fruits but pleasant enough. Is it good ? Of course but ridiculously pricey. Somehow they have not just got nouveau cuisine but is dressed to look like it. Not worth a revisit, especially when you can have the same meal for 2/3rd the price elsewhere.

We used this restaurant for both lunch and dinner during our stay at the Monte Santo resort. Every time services was efficent, food was excellent and the price was good. I do recommend trying the four course fixed price Portuguese menu that is offered on a Saturday evening.

The restaurant at the Monte Santo Resort offers some great options for both lunch and dinner.We ate here as a family and it catered well for adults and kids. Food is cooked to perfection and very well presented. Good choice of starters,main meat and fish dishes. Service of a very high standard. It borders more closely on fine dining so don't expect huge portions.Very good experience and would easily eat here again.

Lunch and Dinner were reasonable with a good choice on the menu. The food was excellent quality. The restaurant is quite quiet so should really get a table to suit. We had breakfast included in our stay. The buffet style breakfast was wonderful. Something for everyone. The fruit was exceptionaly fresh. The little cakes were also a treat. Sets you up for the day. Enjoy.

Excellent breakfast, good quality, big range. The buffet dinner was awesome, some amazing fish and salads. Slightly poor deserts, but good value. Really nice drink range. The staff are fine but there was no atmosphere in the evening and we were told to book despite only about four tables in use which seemed bizarre
